Pau Amat Romeu is a cinematographer born in 1997 and based in Barcelona, always open to moving and exploring new places.
He began experimenting with video and photography at the age of fourteen, filming his friends skateboarding. His curiosity and passion for cinema soon led him to discover his true calling: cinematography.
In 2021, he filmed the award-winning documentary L’Art de l’Antídot.
In 2022, he entered the commercial industry as a camera assistant. Throughout 2023 and early 2024, he worked as a gaffer on a wide range of projects. This hands-on experience, combined with the cinematography work he consistently pursued, allowed him to establish himself as a director of photography in 2025, focusing primarily on fashion and social media content.
He has collaborated with major brands such as Hugo, Carolina Herrera, Toskani, Lola Casademunt, ATP, Kings League, and Foot Locker. Beyond fashion, he continues to shoot diverse projects alongside various directors, exploring different formats including 16mm, 35mm, and digital.
